MIDF, SME Corp, MPUKP Shah Alam distribute emergency funds to SMEs
On 13 July 2022, MIDF, together with SME Corp joined Majlis Pembangunan Ushahawan & Koperasi Parlimen (MPUKP) Shah Alam in a Majlis Penyerahan Dana Kecemasan PKS (SMEEF 2.0) which was held in Uptown Shah Alam, Selangor for 152 successful applicants of the SME Emergency Fund 2.0 (SMEEF 2.0) amounting to RM14.67 million from the Shah Alam area. 62 of whom were from Uptown Shah Alam.
The event started with a speech from Encik Hassan Nuruddin, President of Persatuan Peniaga-Peniaga Shah Alam which was followed by a speech by Datuk Azhari Shaari, President of MPUKP Shah Alam.
YBhg. Tan Sri Noh Omar, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives then addressed the audience before presenting a mock cheque to Datuk Azhari Shaari, who accepted the cheque on behalf of the successful recipients of the SMEEF 2.0 from the Shah Alam areas.
Dato’ Charon Wardini Mokhzani, Group Managing Director of MIDF, and representatives from DFD attended the event on behalf of the Group.
