Hi-Tea with MIDF Group Chairman for clients in Sabah in appreciation of their continuous support
MIDF's Development Finance Division (DFD) held a private hi-tea at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on 1 November 2022 for its former and existing clients in appreciation of their continuous support. The event was attended by 60 people including representatives from trade associations, MITI, and other government agencies.
The event was also attended by Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, MIDF Group Chairman, MIDF EXCO Members, Dato’ Kaziah Abdul Kadir, Datuk Mohd Nasir Ali, Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, Cik Hasnah Omar, and MIDF Group Managing Director, Dato’ Charon Wardini Mokhzani, as well as representatives of MIDF’s management team and Development Finance Division.
The event started with welcome remarks by our Group Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat. Afterwards, guests were presented with updates on the country’s economic outlook and on the various government financing assistance and schemes currently available via MIDF by En. Muhammad Zafri Zulkeffeli of MIDF Research and Mr. Yip Weng Seng of DFD respectively. After all the presentations, invited guests had the opportunity to meet Tan Sri Abdul Rahman and engage with their industry peers in a more casual business networking environment while enjoying refreshments.
The hi-tea is one of the many programmes planned by DFD this year which are all aimed to provide our management with the opportunity to meet existing and potential clients in person as well as to provide these clients with updates on the various financing assistance and schemes currently available via MIDF.
