MIDF's Development Finance Division (DFD) organised a briefing over Zoom on 28 February 2022 for Anchor Companies and vendors under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives' (MEDAC) Vendor Development Programme on the Geran Inovasi & Pengkomersialan Vendor (GIPV). The grant is for up to RM1 million and is offered to Bumiputera Vendors registered with Anchor Companies under MEDAC's Vendor Development Programme.

MIDF was invited to participate in this year's Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy Pro-Am organised by Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) in honour of the late Tun Ahmad Sarji, PGM's first Chairman who passed away in August 2021. The Pro-Am was held yesterday, 22 February 2022 at the Saujana Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Halal Development Corporation (HDC) held the World Halal Excellence Awards 2021 at Four Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on 21 February 2022. The event, which was initially supposed to be held in conjunction with the World Halal Business Conference (WHBC) 2021 in September last year, honoured individuals and organisations that have demonstrated exemplary leadership through realworld achievements in raising awareness, improving efficiencies, and making measurable impact on the Halal Industry in Malaysia and Internationally.

The first MITI Assembly this year was held on 24 January 2022 at Menara MITI. Attended by MITI staff as well as officials and representatives from MITI Agencies, MITI presented RM10,000 in financial assistance to each employee of its agencies who had been affected by the floods in December 2021. There were over 20 recipients who received financial aid including MIDF staff, En. Jamaluddin Mulk E-Iman from our Administration Department.

On 19 January 2022, MIDF's Development Finance Division (DFD), in collaboration with SME Malaysia and Etiqa, organised a webinar over Zoom and Facebook Live on the topic of "Moving On Post-Pandemic & Flood: Government Financial Assistance & Insurance".
