Datuk (Dr.) Dominic Silva assumed the position of CEO of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank (MIDF Investment) in July 2019.

Prior to joining MIDF Investment, he was a Director in a South Asia and SEA focused investment company which he co-founded in 2017. Datuk (Dr.) Dominic was the Head of Investments at Khazanah Nasional Berhad and served there for nine years from 2008 to 2017.
 
He has over 32 years of experience in the banking, insurance and investment areas of finance during which time he worked in a number of banking institutions, both locally and internationally. His previous Directorships include being a Director of Astro Holdings Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), CIMB Bank Berhad (Malaysia), CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (Malaysia), CIMB Thailand Public Co Limited (Thailand), Infrastructure Development Finance Co Limited (India), and PT Bank CIMB Niaga, (Indonesia).
 
Datuk (Dr.) Dominic is a Finance graduate from the University of Wales. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Research (Business) from the University of Liverpool. In addition, he also completed his Senior Management Program at the Henley Management College, United Kingdom and attended the Global Banking Leaders Program at City University, London.
