2nd MIDF Automation & Digital Forum in PG
MIDF, together with Bizsphere Sdn. Bhd., successfully organised the second edition of the MIDF Automation & Digital Forum series, this time targeted at small and medium businesses (SMEs) in the northern region. Held on 9 June 2023 in Penang, the full day forum was officiated by YB Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).
More than 200 participants attended the forum, which panel sessions included a dialogue with the Deputy Minister, discussions on the journey towards IR4.0, as well as solution showcases by various technology providers and other IR4.0 ecosystem enablers.
There was also an exchange of Memorandum of Collaboration between MIDF and the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER), enabling local businesses to gain access to a wide range of financial advisory solutions and support for their technology and innovation activities. The agreement will also foster joint promotional activities between MIDF and NCER, creating synergistic marketing campaigns to mutually benefit both parties.
MIDF will be organising four more Automation & Digital Forums as part of the series this year.
