Swift Haulage Berhad launches IPO prospectus

Swift Haulage Berhad (Swift Haulage), one of Malaysia’s integrated logistics service providers, launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) prospectus in a ceremony held at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, 30 November 2021.The IPO prospectus was launched in conjunction with Swift Haulage’s listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) targeted for 21 December 2021. 

The launch was attended by the group’s board members and senior management team as well as by Dato’ Charon Mokhzani, Datuk Dominic Silva and members of the senior management team of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad (MIDF Investment), the Principal Adviser, Joint Lead Bookrunner, Joint Bookrunner, Managing Underwriter and Joint Underwriter for this IPO exercise. The prospectus was launched by Dato’ Charon Mokhzani, Datuk Dominic Silva, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Abi Musa Asa’ari Mohamed Nor, Chairman of Swift Haulage Berhad and Mr. Loo Yong Hui, Group Chief Executive Officer of Swift Haulage Berhad.

Slated to raise approximately RM161.9 million (at an issue price of RM1.03 per IPO share), Swift Haulage’s IPO will be one of the largest of the year, has attracted the support of cornerstone investors that took up approximately 58.7% of the institutional offering (excluding shares offered to Bumiputera investors approved by the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI)).

Speaking at the launch, Group Managing Director of MIDF and Executive Director of MIDF Investment, Dato’ Charon Mokhzani said “the listing of Swift Haulage on the Main Market will allow it to raise capital for expansion plans. It will also raise the profile of the Group and the brand in the eyes of its current and potential customers, provide greater transparency, and attract even more talent; all of which will help the Group achieve its goals.”
