MIDF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) to collaborate on The MIDF Award for Mathematics and Economics Excellence. The signing of the MoU was held in conjunction with the launch of MIDF’s history book and e-Book which had been curated and produced to commemorate the Group’s 62nd anniversary. The event was held at Menara MIDF yesterday, 30 March 2022.

MIDF Team 2 came out as first runner-up at The Association of Development Finance Institutions Malaysia (ADFIM) Bowling Tournament 2022, winning the RM800 prize in the competition held at Wangsa Bowl in Wangsa Walk on 27 March 2022. Seven (7) organisations took part in the tournament, sending two (2) teams each. They included PUNB, PERNAS, MIDF, BSN, AGROBANK, SME BANK and CGC.

More than 500 participants from corporates, Government related agencies, non-profits and media attended MIDF's Green Conference 2022 on Wednesday, 9 March 2022. The virtual, half-day conference featured distinguished speakers and panellists including YB Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economy), who delivered the keynote address.

Dato' Charon Mokhzani, our Group Managing Director, was invited to participate in the Malaysian Sustainable Finance Initiative (MSFI) CEO Roundtable: A Commitment to Advancing Sustainable Finance, which was held virtually on 3 March 2022.

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) held a "Majlis Resepsi Tahun Baru Cina 2022" on 28 February 2022 at Dewan Perdana, Menara MITI.
