MIDF Research held focus group discussion with Persatuan Pengusaha Restoran Muslim Malaysia (PRESMA)

MIDF Research held a focus group discussion – “Gauging The Impact of Food Inflation, Subsidies Cut & Labour Shortages on Lepak Mamak” with representatives of Persatuan Pengusaha Restoran Muslim Malaysia (PRESMA) on 17 August 2022 at PRESMA’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. This was the first time MIDF Research met with representatives of PRESMA who provided insight into the challenges faced by Indian Muslim restaurant owners despite improvement in sales performance post-pandemic and in the second quarter of 2022. 

MIDF's virtual business matching event in collaboration with SME Corp

MIDF's Development Finance Division (DFD) organised a virtual business matching event in collaboration with SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp) from 9 until 12 August 2022. The event, hosted on SME Corp’s MatchMe virtual platform was held with the objective to support the growth of SMEs and facilitate SMEs’ participation in the retailer supply chain. 

MIDF, SME Corp, MPUKP Shah Alam distribute emergency funds to SMEs

On 13 July 2022, MIDF, together with SME Corp joined Majlis Pembangunan Ushahawan & Koperasi Parlimen (MPUKP) Shah Alam in a Majlis Penyerahan Dana Kecemasan PKS (SMEEF 2.0) which was held in Uptown Shah Alam, Selangor for 152 successful applicants of the SME Emergency Fund 2.0 (SMEEF 2.0) amounting to RM14.67 million from the Shah Alam area. 62 of whom were from Uptown Shah Alam.

Infoline Tec makes successful debut on ACE Market

IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solution provider, Infoline Tec Group Berhad (Infoline Tec) made its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 13 July 2022. 

MIDF Investment Bank to advise on IMTN Programme for MSA Resources

MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad (MIDF Investment) has been appointed as principal adviser, lead arranger, lead manager, facility agent and shariah adviser for MSA Resources Sdn Bhd’s (MSAR) proposed issuance of Islamic Medium-Term Notes (IMTN) programme of up to RM500 million. 

MSAR is a carrier-neutral telecommunications facilities and services provider providing Malaysia-Singapore-protected connectivity via both Causeway and Second Link bridges. MSAR is currently building the Digital Super Highway Network, a brand new, highly secured, low latency network along the highways of Peninsular Malaysia, approval of which was granted by the Ministry of Works via the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA).
