MIDF donates to flood-stricken Kelantan & Terengganu

Malaysia is currently facing one of the worst floods in the country’s history, with more than 50,000 victims being displaced and forced to leave their homes as reported in recent news.

Newly appointed Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI), YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz held his first official visit to Menara MIDF on 12 December 2022.

 

Hi-Tea with MIDF Group Chairman for clients in Sabah in appreciation of their continuous support

MIDF's Development Finance Division (DFD) held a private hi-tea at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on 1 November 2022 for its former and existing clients in appreciation of their continuous support. The event was attended by 60 people including representatives from trade associations, MITI, and other government agencies.

 

MIDF's Development Finance Division organised a hybrid business matching session with GLCs

MIDF's Development Finance Division (DFD) organised a hybrid business matching session with GLCs from 18 until 21 October 2022. The physical session was held at Dewan Mahkota in SME Corporation Malaysia’s office in KL Sentral while the online session was hosted on SME Corp’s MatchMe virtual platform. Representatives from 101 SMEs attended the event in person while representatives from 29 SMEs joined virtually.

MIDF at the Youth Economic Forum 2022

MIDF participated in this year’s Youth Economic Forum (YEF) which was held on 29 October 2022 at Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia. Organised by Perdana Fellow Alumni Associations (PFAA), YEF 2022, themed ‘Overcoming Crisis - Dangers and Opportunities’, aimed at engaging all levels of societies in rebuilding resilient recovery from the pandemic, saw over 1,000 participants and 32 notable speakers including caretaker Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, who gave the keynote address and Ikhlas Capital Chairman and Founding Partner Tan Sri Mohamed Nazir Abdul Razak. Chairman of Pakatan Harapan Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin addressed Forum participants via pre-recorded messages.
